Ministries
Life2LifeMentoring: Grace to the Nations offers mentoring relationships to eligible and willing clients who desire to end the cycle of dependency. Grace to the Nations trains Life2Life volunteer mentors to be a part of a mentoring team that plans and relates directly to a life in need, giving participants opportunities they may never otherwise obtain. The goal of the ministry is to connect a life in need to work, to hope, and to spiritual maturity.
Biblical Foundation: The Book of Ruth
Bags of Grace: Grace to the Nations distributes critical items of need to eligible clients. Clients can receive a limited number of items per year and are eligible for more assistance if enrolled in the Life2Life Mentoring ministry. The Bag of Grace ministry is Grace to the Nations’ commodity based ministry. It serves to open up the lives of believers into the lives of clients, giving them a tangible witness to the reality of Christian love, grace and service.
Biblical Foundation: Deuteronomy 15:7
Community Presence: Grace to the Nations is located in the heart of its ministry field, 185 E. Main St. in Canton, GA. We are continuing to establish this ministry in the community to let clients and supporters know that we are serious about meeting the needs of our community with a biblical and truly Christian witness. GTN uses office space to offer training for volunteers who desire to know how to share their faith while also using the space for events, mentoring, training, and counseling.
Biblical Foundation: Matthew 5:14-16
The Poverty Challenge: Grace to the Nations is constantly seeking ways to combat poverty, not only in our own community but across the world. We plan and take mission trips of perspective to help educate and promote actions for helping make poverty history. Grace to the Nations will continue to make our community aware of poverty all over the world by not only sending others to poorer parts of the world but through education and projects that bring awareness and longer-term solutions.
Biblical Foundation: Matthew 25:31-46
The Gospel Challenge: This emphasis alone separates us most simply from other local nonprofit ministries. We desire to be intentional in evangelizing, training, and connecting people around the gospel of Jesus Christ locally, nationally, and internationally. We believe that without the gospel all else is vanity, so we desire to make the gospel central to all that we are and to all that we do.
Biblical Foundation: 2 Corinthians 4:1-6
“All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ…”
2 Corinthians 5:18-20a
