FAQ

What does GTN do? Desiring to connect God’s story to those in need GTN connects the community of believers into the community of need.  GTN organizes ministries toward this goal of connection. Serving over two thousand and connecting over five hundred volunteers GTN has organized over fifteen ministries in the past seven years resulting in countless lives changed by the impact of the Gospel.

How does GTN do it? GTN is not tied to funding attached to micro-specific purposes which allows GTN to adapt, evolve, and plan ministry according to the need and resources available.  Sustainability isn’t in ministry projects, projects are delivery devices for connecting people and developing relationships toward giving people the Gospel. Projects must be constantly reviewed and adapted.

Why the emphasis on redemption? Redemption means delivering those held captive in bondage.  Redemption is about bringing all of creation back to its original intent of worshipping God.  Redemption is about gaining possession of something new in exchange for a payment made by another.  Redemption is about clearing debt, buying back, and gaining freedom at the cost of another. The Good News is news of redemption.

I don’t feel equipped, what should I do? First, recognize that none of us are as qualified as we would like to think is necessary.  Training, education, and experience are of value but never an excuse to not participate in the mission of God. Begin with the greatest commandment, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself,” and then begin serving.  GTN can partner you with other volunteers as you begin a new life of serving and loving your neighbor.  But there is no secret to love, no formula for service, it is simply humbling yourself, intentionally stepping out of your comfort, and getting muddy.

How are we funded? The majority of our funding comes from individuals who believe that the Gospel is most important.  We are so thankful for our steadfast supporters through the years and always welcome new ones.  If you’re interested in financially supporting this ministry, click here to donate.  Grace to the Nations is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
