Grace to the Nations is working in Haiti right now to help those affected by the earthquake. Already, a medical mission has been set up at Quesqueya Christian School and an orphanage discovered yesterday in an area that had received NO assistance is being given help and hope.

The goal of Redeem Haiti is for the Christian church to “take up the call to action and commission with God.” The recent earthquake in Haiti has provided countless opportunities for the church to do just that. Spencer is working with our partner churches in the Dominican Republic as well as here in the States, and with many individuals within those churches. He is currently in Haiti coordinating relief efforts to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those affected by the earthquake.

Then Prove It ministries, a parnter with REDEEM HAITI, is hosting a benefit softball tournament at Gilmer County Park and Rec on May 29th and 30th. $15 per person, teams of 10. Grace to the Nations has been advised by Acton Institute policies and solutions for the last four years in our local combat with suburban poverty. The institute helped to birth our own long-term vision for fighting poverty.
